The core

The way you actually run a bakery.

Not a website builder with a shopping cart bolted on. Batch is built around the real shape of a home food business — the dates, the deposits, the delivery run, the Saturday rush.

Your storefront

Free

One clean template, sharpened until it just works.

No design decisions, no blank canvas, no AI guessing at your brand. Every Batch shop starts on the same hand-built storefront — white, fast, mobile-first, Instagram-grid product cards — and every product gets its own real page. It ships from our code, so the day we improve it, your shop improves too.

  • A page per product — photos, details, reviews, its own tidy link
  • Mobile-first and SEO-ready: Lighthouse 95+ is a build gate, not a goal
  • Live at your-shop.usebatch.shop the moment you publish — no setup

Add the sections you want. Pick a colour. Done.

The Site tab is a list of premade sections — hero badges, callout cards, a catering block, a gallery, an image banner, FAQs, reviews. Add, fill, reorder, hide, all from your phone. Then set an accent colour, a background tone and one of six type pairings. Everything stays readable by construction: pick neon pink and the buttons still pass contrast.

  • Curated sections you fill in — never a blank page-builder canvas
  • Accent colour, background tone, six curated typefaces. That’s the whole knob set
  • Saves are live in seconds — no publish ceremony, no rebuild

Free

Quotes, deposits and balances — without the Venmo shuffle.

Price a custom cake, send a branded quote, and collect a real deposit. Batch snapshots the amounts, holds the date the moment it clears, and asks for the balance before pickup on its own — the flow other tools fake with a bare payment link.

  • Deposit is a real % of the total, locked at quote time
  • The date is held the instant the deposit clears

The order buzzes your phone at 6am.

We built the merchant app: a push notification the second an order lands, opening straight onto that ticket. Mark it paid, mark it ready, call the customer, shoot a photo of today's bake and put it on sale — without opening a laptop. It's in TestFlight now; the App Store release is next.

  • Push on every new order — the notification opens the exact ticket
  • Add a product camera-first: shoot it, price it, it’s live in a minute
  • The whole site editor and your theme, at thumb scale, with a Face ID lock

One platform

Everything else you’d bolt on — already inside.

Storefront, payments and calendar are just the start. Reviews, product pages, order lookup, the phone app and the growth layer all live in the same place, so your customer list, your emails and your orders are never in three tools that don’t talk. Automations even send the follow-ups for you — like the cake-iversary that fires a year after a first order.

Free

Verified reviews

Buyers are invited to review after pickup; stars land on the product page and its cards. Verified means order-linked — nothing else can ever wear the badge.

Free

Product pages

Every product gets its own themed page — photo gallery, ingredients and allergens, reviews, a tidy link you can send. Rename it and the old link still works.

Free

Customer order lookup

Buyers check their orders at /my-orders with an emailed magic link — status, pickup details, one-tap reorder. No passwords, no accounts to manage.

Free

Pickup or delivery

Run pickup only, delivery only, or both. Checkout collects the address when it needs one, and the ticket turns it into a tappable map link for the run.

Free

Embeddable SDK

One script tag turns a Squarespace, Webflow or hand-built site into a Batch storefront — same engine, your domain. Agencies: ship ordering to every client.

The next chapter

Soon

The Batch marketplace

Once shops are thriving, Batch opens a local discovery marketplace — a real map, nearby customers finding you, and the verified reviews your shop is already collecting today. Your storefront becomes a listing the day it goes live. This one’s on the roadmap, and we’ll say so until it ships.

Phase 9 · in the works

How it works

Three steps. One afternoon.

There is no design step. You never pick a template, brief an AI, or stare at a blank canvas — your shop is presentable from the first screen, and you make it yours whenever you feel like it.

  1. 01

    Name your shop

Sign up free and type your shop’s name — that’s the whole first screen. You get your-shop.usebatch.shop and a storefront that already looks finished.

  2. 02

    Add your menu

Photos, prices, options. Then say which days you bake and how many orders a day you can handle — Batch does the sold-out math from there.

  3. 03

    Take orders today

Connect Stripe for cards, or start in manual mode. Share the link. Real orders land on your board — and on your phone — the same afternoon.

One tool, not five

Stop paying five apps to do one job.

Most home food businesses run on a link-in-bio, a Google Form, Venmo, a site builder and a mail tool — none of which talk to each other. Batch is the one place all of it lives, and the base of it is free.

Answers, no fluff

The honest questions.

If it’s not here, ask us anything — a real person answers.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. If you can post to Instagram, you can run a Batch shop. You type your shop’s name, add products from your camera roll, and manage everything from your phone — no code, no hosting, no plugins, and nothing to design from scratch.

What does my storefront look like?

Every Batch shop runs the same hand-built template: white, fast, mobile-first, with big square product photos — the look of a well-made Shopify store or a tidy Instagram grid. You make it yours by adding premade sections (hero badges, callout cards, a catering block, a gallery, FAQs, reviews) and setting three things: an accent colour, a background tone, and one of six type pairings. It is deliberately not an AI design generator and not a blank page-builder — it is a good storefront on day one that you shape as you go.

How do payments work — and what’s the catch on 0%?

There isn’t one. You connect your own Stripe account and the money from every sale lands there directly. Batch charges a 0% platform fee — you only pay Stripe’s standard card processing (about 2.9% + 30¢ on US cards), the same as anywhere else. Not on Stripe yet? Manual mode lets customers pay by Zelle, Venmo or cash and you mark the order paid.

Is there an app?

Yes — Batch Studio for iOS, and it’s the reason most bakers stop refreshing a browser tab. A push notification fires the moment an order lands and opens straight onto that ticket: mark it paid, mark it ready, tap to call the customer, tap the address for directions. You can also add products camera-first and edit your whole site and theme from the app. It’s in TestFlight today and heading to the App Store; Android isn’t on the near-term plan.

Pickup only, or can I deliver?

Either, or both. Pick your mode in Settings and write your own instructions for each. Delivery orders collect a real address at checkout, and it shows up on the order ticket as a tappable map link for the run. Delivery fees and zones aren’t in yet — you set expectations in your instruction copy.

Can I use my own website?

Yes. Drop in one script tag and a Batch ordering widget renders on any site — Squarespace, Webflow, or hand-coded — with checkout on your own domain. Prefer full design control? The SDK is headless-first: fetch products as typed data and render your own markup. Or just use the free storefront Batch gives you. (Pointing your own custom domain at the hosted storefront is coming to Pro.)

What’s free, and what’s Pro?

Free runs a real shop: your storefront and its editor, product pages, 0% card payments, unlimited orders, quotes and deposits, pickup or delivery, verified reviews, the iOS app, your customer list, and 500 marketing emails a month. Pro is $12/mo flat and adds the growth layer — automations like cake-iversary and win-back, smart segments, 10,000 emails a month, and removing the Batch badge.

Where do reviews come from?

Real orders. After an order is finished, the customer gets an invite to review what they actually bought; stars land on the product page and on its cards once you approve them. You can also add a testimonial you were sent elsewhere — it renders visibly differently and can never carry the “verified order” badge. There is no way for a shop to write itself a verified review, by design.

Who is Batch for?

Home bakers and cottage-food makers — cakes, breads, pastry, preserves, the Saturday-pickup crowd. If you sell food you make yourself, fulfilled by the date, Batch is built for exactly your shape of business.

Your kitchen is the product. Let Batch run everything else.

A real storefront, real payments, a calendar that protects your weekends, and an app that buzzes when an order lands — free, in an afternoon.
